Data Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the data architecture of the Openclaims platform. This role offers the opportunity to have technical ownership of our data infrastructure, the critical backbone of our product.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

• Development of data pipelines and data integrations in AWS;
• Design and development of data architecture that enables our product to add value with data for our customers;
• Technical ownership of data and cloud infrastructure of our product;
• Development of Cloud infrastructure in AWS;
• Embed smart data-driven solutions in our product;
• Conduct regular code reviews for your colleagues;
• Implement quality, control, and testing protocols: ensure a secure and compliant data landscape.

YOU…

• Have a degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent;
• Have a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in data engineering;
• Have proficient knowledge of Python and AWS;
• Are fluent in English and show curiosity, innovation, creative and divergent thinking;
• Master new tech like lightning and have an eagerness for any new developments in your field;
• Possess strong problem-solving skills, have a result-oriented mindset, and the ability to think and act quickly; 
• Have a sense of humor, are approachable, and able to fly solo and collaborate;
• Are currently residing within the Amsterdam metropolitan area.
