CAREER OPPORTUNITY: EVENTS & COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST


YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As the Openclaims Events & Communication Specialist you are fully responsible for one of the main lead generation and brand awareness channels we operate. In close cooperation with our marketing and sales teams, you execute the event marketing strategy on all levels: defining the strategy, preparing and executing of events and realizing the desired outcomes. You’ll focus on both external (conferences, trade shows, digital events) and our own client events in Europe. 

  • You translate our marketing strategy to an event strategy.
  • You define our event calendar.
  • You are responsible for a flawless execution of all events.
  • You align with the commercial teams and external partners about strategy, target setting, participation and execution.
  • You report about results and learnings.
  • You manage your own event budget.
  • You develop best practices for organizing events and becoming thought leader.
  • You manage press relations and PR agencies.


YOUR FUTURE TEAM

The marketing squad – 3 experts, highly educated, creative + commercial brains – plays a crucial role for us to hold a competitive advantage in our sector. The team has the responsibility to:

  • ensure that our brand stands out, show and tell our credibility, be clear on what we do, and
  • generate qualified leads to our commercial team through actionable initiatives based on data.

Requirements

YOU…

  • are truly passionate about events

  • have done all this before in the fast pace of a start-up environment

  • show a commercial drive, creativity and persistence

  • are fluent in English (German, French or Dutch is a pre)

  • are self-starting, result-driven and a fast thinker and mover

  • have excellent planning & organizational skills

  • have a sense of humor, are approachable and able to fly solo and collaborate

  • are available for 24-32 hours
